Elliot is a shy and gentle Miniature Poodle cross who is looking for a quiet home, he is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.
Elliot does have a worried side but has come out of his shell over time and enjoys spending time with his favourite people now. He likes to have a fuss once he has gained confidence but he will need a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace.
He is looking for a home with a private and secure garden and to live in areas away from busy roads and built up locations due to having a worried side.
Elliot has been social with other dogs and could possibly live with another small dog who would be a nice role model for him. He prefers dogs that are calmer and independent, rather than ones that want to play all of the time.
Elliot will need to work on his confidence and is looking for new owners that have some experience with more nervous dogs.
Any new owner will need to speak to a Battersea vet before rehoming him, he does have some ongoing ear issues that new owners will need to be comfortable continuing.
Elliot is a loveable, charming dog. If you are interested in rehoming him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
Please be aware that due to the high number of enquiries we are receiving, we are only able to respond to individual enquiries that look to be a good match for Elliot’s needs. Thank you for your understanding.

Meet Miss Mini!
Mini was brought into Battersea as a stray so we have no history on her. She has been a friendly and excitable puppy at Battersea, who enjoys playing with her toys!
Due to having no history, we cannot tell what mix of breed she is. New owners will therefore need an adaptable lifestyle and expectations, as we do not know her probable behaviours and traits, as she develops. W believe she will grow into a large, active dog.
Mini is only 3 months old. She will need all her puppy basics putting in place, and constructive exposure to dogs, new people, different environments, and handling. We highly recommend she attends reward-based puppy classes, to support her training and socialisation.
Mini will need little to no leaving hours while she settles in and bonds with her new owners, and her time alone built up very gradually.
If you are interested in Mini please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming
Please note due to volume of enquiries we may have at any time, we will only look to contact homes that we feel best meet all of Mini's needs.
